Transience
Report incorrect information
The October Audio Transience is a CMOS-based drone synthesizer and sound generator featuring three independent oscillators, a modulation oscillator and a separate instrument input channel. OSC 1, 2 and 3 control individual drone frequencies, while Starve reduces oscillator supply voltage to create unstable pitches, rhythmic fluctuations and sputtering textures. Mod adjusts the rate of low-frequency modulation, becoming more pronounced as voltage is reduced. Drone and Input independently control oscillator and external signal levels. A Drone Power switch enables or disables the oscillators, allowing the input gain stage to function independently as a signal booster. The pedal generates sound without an external instrument and features buffered output.
