The October Audio Mntns(pronounced "mountains) is an all-analog OTA-based phaser, vibrato and boost pedal inspired by the high-headroom phasers of the 1970s. It offers selectable 2-stage and 4-stage phasing, with a Feedback switch that introduces regeneration for more pronounced, resonant sweeps. A three-position mode switch selects Gain (G), Phaser (P) or Vibe (V). Phaser mode provides traditional phase shifting, while Vibe produces pitch vibrato, with deeper modulation available in 4-stage mode. Gain mode isolates the transistor input and JFET op-amp output stages, providing clean boost or mild overdrive at higher settings. Rate controls modulation speed, while Gain adjusts output amplification. Engaging Feedback primarily affects Phaser mode and alters the behavior of the other modes.
