16 Second Digital Delay

The Maneco Labs 16 Second Delay Vintage Compact is an 8-bit digital delay and looper inspired by the 1983 Electro-Harmonix 16 Second Digital Delay. It combines digital sampling and memory with analog filtering, compression and expansion circuitry for vintage-style delay textures. Delay time reaches approximately 16 seconds in Fast mode or 32 seconds in Slow mode. Six sliders control Delay Coarse, Delay Fine, Speed, Depth, Feedback and Blend. An analog triangle-wave LFO provides pitch and time modulation, while the Slow/Fast switch changes playback speed and pitch by an octave. Additional features include reverse playback, adjustable feedback for overdubbing and self-oscillation, an Infinite footswitch for freezing recorded audio, and a separate analog click metronome output. The pedal is handcrafted in Uruguay and requires a center-negative power supply delivering at least 150 mA.
