VE-500 Vocal Performer

The BOSS VE-500 Vocal Performer is a digital vocal multi-effects processor designed for singers and guitarists. It provides automatic vocal harmonies and pitch correction controlled by guitar chords or MIDI, including real-time two- and three-part harmonies. Up to nine effects can operate simultaneously, including compression, de-essing, EQ, reverb, delay, modulation, distortion and filtering. A built-in vocoder uses the guitar signal to produce electronic vocal and talkbox-style effects. The pedal also features a dedicated looper, flexible effects routing and 99 user memories. Three assignable footswitches and knobs provide real-time control, while USB MIDI and dedicated editing software allow external control and preset management.
