The Barber Electronics B.U.S.S. HG Five Watt World Edition is a dual-voiced analog overdrive pedal based on the Barber B-Custom Super Sport and Burn Unit circuits. Designed for higher gain levels than the original B.U.S.S., it offers two selectable voices inspired by modified Marshall amplifiers, cranked Vox tones and high-gain Dumble-style overdrive. The Super Sport mode delivers an aggressive British-style response, while the Burn Unit mode provides thicker, more pronounced overdrive. A separate two-position switch selects between High Harmonics, which adds harmonic content and a softer, vintage-style response, and Ultra Dynamics, which emphasizes articulation, openness and output. Volume, Tone and Drive controls adjust output level, high-frequency roll-off and gain.
