Wannabee

The Beetronics Wannabee Beelateral Buzz is a dual overdrive pedal that combines two independent drive circuits inspired by classic Bluesbreaker- and Klon-style designs. Each side features its own tone controls and can be used separately or combined for a wide range of gain structures and tonal textures. The first circuit is based on the Bluesbreaker topology, providing low-to-medium gain overdrive with a dynamic, amp-like response. The second circuit is inspired by the Klon design, offering transparent overdrive and clean boost characteristics with added presence and clarity. A flexible routing system allows the two circuits to be connected in either series or parallel, significantly expanding the available sounds. With independent EQ controls and multiple routing options, the Wannabee is designed to cover everything from subtle boost and edge-of-breakup tones to more complex stacked overdrive sounds.
