The Greer Amps Lightspeed Organic Overdrive is a low- to medium-gain overdrive designed to preserve the natural character of the guitar and amplifier. It delivers rich harmonics and smooth clipping while remaining highly responsive to picking dynamics, allowing it to range from a nearly transparent boost to edge-of-breakup overdrive. The pedal is intended to blend naturally with the existing tone rather than heavily color it. Used by players including Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow), Drew Shirley (Switchfoot), Alex Weeden (Miranda Lambert), and Jordan Peters (Lauryn Hill), it features true bypass switching and operates from 9–18V DC (or a 9V battery), with higher voltages providing additional headroom.
