Meet Maude

The Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude is an analog delay designed to produce dark, tape-inspired echoes with a rich and distinctive character. The Tone and Feedback controls allow the repeats to be shaped beyond simple repetitions, ranging from warm, low-frequency feedback to brighter, more intense self-oscillation. As the repeats decay, a dynamic output filter progressively darkens each echo, enhancing the tape-like response. Subtle random modulation of the delay time recreates the natural instability of a reel-to-reel tape machine. The pedal also features full CV support, allowing external control of delay time and feedback using devices such as an expression pedal or other compatible control sources.
