Randy’s Revenge

The Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge is a fully analog ring modulator featuring a hand-tuned pure sine wave oscillator in a compact pedal powered by a standard 9V supply. At low oscillator frequencies, it produces tremolo, vibrato, and rhythmic modulation effects, while higher frequencies create bell-like tones, tuned intervals, and lo-fi synth-style textures. The low-pass filter and dry/wet mix controls allow a wide range of subtle or experimental sounds. The pedal also offers extensive control voltage (CV) functionality, with voltage control over both the oscillator and filter frequencies. A switchable stereo CV connection supports either an expression pedal or dual-channel CV, and the internal oscillator can be used as a standalone voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) output.
