The Fairfield Circuitry Roger That is an effect pedal designed to emulate the sound of FM radio modulation, introducing distortion, interference, and communication-style signal degradation. Its controls intentionally affect the demodulation process, producing a range of familiar yet unpredictable artifacts, including noise, pops, crackle, squeals, and unstable distortion. The pedal features a FET preamp, CV control over the Tune parameter, RF and EMI approximation, and lo-fi FM/AM radio-style signal degradation, making it suitable for creating unconventional textures and experimental sounds.
