The Moog Moogerfooger MF-105 MuRF (Multiple Resonance Filter Array) is an analog filter and modulation processor designed to apply animated filter movement to incoming audio signals. Originally released in 2004, it features eight resonant band-pass filters with individual level sliders similar to a graphic EQ.
Each filter can be dynamically controlled by built-in animation patterns that rhythmically alter the filter levels, creating sequenced filtering, rhythmic modulation, and moving tonal textures. The later MF-105M MIDI MuRF version combined the original guitar-focused model with the bass-oriented MF-105B while adding MIDI control functionality.
The pedal supports mono or stereo operation. In stereo mode, odd-numbered filters are routed to the left output and even-numbered filters to the right, creating wide spatial movement across the stereo field. All parameters can also be controlled externally via control voltage inputs.
