The Ghoul

The Ghoul is an op-amp fuzz pedal inspired by vintage op-amp Big Muff circuits, expanded with a powerful active 3-band EQ and parametric mid control for deeper tone shaping. In addition to classic saturated fuzz tones, it can also clean up into a strong dirty boost with dynamic response and increased articulation. The active Bass, Mid, and Treble controls allow both boosting and cutting frequencies, while the Freq control selects the center frequency affected by the mid EQ section. This makes it possible to create a wide range of tones, from scooped fuzz textures to focused midrange-heavy sounds. The pedal was developed as a collaborative design project with custom artwork and limited production.
