The Electro-Harmonix Sovtek Deluxe Big Muff Pi is a fuzz pedal based on the "Civil War" and "Tall Font" Green Russian Big Muff circuits, combining their characteristic powerful low end, crisp highs, and fuller midrange with the expanded controls of the Deluxe Big Muff. It retains the classic Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls while adding a footswitchable Mids EQ with adjustable frequency and High Q/Low Q response for precise midrange shaping. Additional features include a Wicker switch to extend the high-frequency response, a built-in Noise Gate, an expression pedal input for real-time control, and 9V battery or DC power operation.
