Neoplex

The Neoplex is a discontinued boost pedal inspired by the preamp section of the Maestro Echoplex EP-3 tape echo. Built around the rare TIS58 FET transistor used in original EP-3 units, it recreates the clean-to-crunch boost character associated with the preamp coloration favored by players such as Eddie Van Halen and Jimmy Page. Designed after careful analysis of the original circuitry, the Neoplex delivers warm, dynamic boost tones with added harmonic texture and sensitivity. A dedicated Bounce control adjusts the response and feel, making it easier to match different amplifiers, including high-gain setups. Modern power filtering and updated components help reduce noise while preserving the character of the original circuit. Due to the limited availability of authentic TIS58 transistors, the Neoplex was produced in limited quantities.
