Oz

The Oz is a silicon fuzz pedal developed in collaboration with guitarist Oz Noy and based on the Vemuram Shanks 4K platform. It replaces the original germanium transistors with two vintage silicon transistors, resulting in a tighter response, increased stability, and a brighter, more aggressive character. Built with selected NOS components, the pedal retains the dynamic and touch-sensitive behavior of the original design while offering a more focused and articulate fuzz texture. It responds well to guitar volume adjustments, allowing transitions from cleaner edge-of-breakup tones to saturated vintage-style fuzz. The Oz combines classic fuzz inspiration with modern reliability, delivering expressive low-to-medium gain fuzz tones suited for a wide range of playing styles.
