Shanks 3K

The Shanks 3K is a discontinued germanium fuzz boost pedal developed with producer and guitarist John Shanks. Inspired by classic circuits such as the Dallas Rangemaster and Sola Sound Tone Bender MkII, it combines vintage-style treble boost characteristics with fuller, fuzzier gain textures. Using hand-selected NOS germanium components and vintage capacitors, the pedal delivers everything from bright clean boost tones to crunchy overdrive and saturated fuzz-like drive. A dedicated Bass control expands the response from traditional treble booster tones into a wider full-range boost suitable for different amplifiers and guitars. Modern power filtering and updated circuitry provide improved noise performance and increased headroom while preserving the dynamic response and character associated with vintage germanium designs.
