Shanks ODS-1

The Vemuram Shanks ODS-1 is a transparent overdrive pedal developed in collaboration with producer and guitarist John Shanks. Designed for versatility and ease of use, it delivers a broad range of tones, from subtle edge-of-breakup drive to more saturated lead sounds suitable for studio and live performance. Inspired by numerous vintage overdrive circuits, the ODS-1 focuses on maintaining clarity and touch sensitivity while providing smooth, amp-like gain response. Two internal trimmers allow fine adjustment of bass response and overall saturation, helping adapt the pedal to different guitars, amplifiers, and playing styles. The result is a flexible low-to-medium gain overdrive capable of covering clean boosts, rhythm drive, and singing solo tones within a single compact pedal.
