Big Muff Pi 2
Report incorrect information
The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi 2 is a fuzz pedal based on a previously unreleased late-1970s dual op-amp Big Muff circuit designed by Bob Myer. While sharing the classic Big Muff controls—Volume, Tone, and Sustain—it offers a distinct voice with crisp highs, powerful low end, slightly less refined clipping, and a more dynamic, fuzz-focused response than traditional Big Muff models. Sustain adjusts the amount of gain and sustain, Tone balances treble and bass, and Volume sets the output level. The pedal features a unique dual op-amp circuit, true bypass switching with both latching and momentary footswitch operation, and is housed in a compact nano-sized enclosure with artwork by Daniel Danger. Developed in partnership with JHS Pedals.
