Gloam

The Joyo R-29 Gloam is a dual-footswitch bass effects pedal that combines an octave effect and a fuzz effect, with each section controlled independently. The pedal allows players to blend the dry signal with the effected sound and adjust the balance between octave and fuzz textures. According to Joyo, the octave section can generate notes one octave below the original signal, while the fuzz section ranges from mild saturation to heavier distortion. Designed for bass guitar, it can be used to add low-end reinforcement, synth-like textures, or aggressive fuzz tones while retaining control over the original signal. The independent controls and dual-footswitch layout allow the octave and fuzz sections to be engaged separately or together.
