El Capistan V2 Tape Delay

The Strymon El Capistan is a stereo tape echo pedal that recreates the behavior of vintage tape echo machines with extensive control over their mechanical characteristics. It offers three tape configurations (Fixed, Multi, and Single head), with controls for Time, Mix, Repeats, Wow & Flutter, Tape Age, and an independent Spring Reverb. Secondary functions provide adjustment of Tape Bias, Tape Crinkle, Low End Contour, and output Boost/Cut. The pedal features a dedicated Tap Tempo footswitch with infinite repeats, selectable true bypass or buffered bypass, stereo operation with a Class A JFET input, switchable mono/stereo input mode, expression pedal and MIDI support via the EXP jack or USB, and operates from a 9V DC, 300 mA power supply.
