Silencer

The Electro-Harmonix Silencer is a noise gate designed to reduce unwanted noise from a single pedal or an entire effects loop. It features Threshold, Reduction, and Release controls, allowing precise adjustment of the gate's activation level, the amount of noise reduction (from +4 dB to -70 dB), and the release time (8 ms to 4 seconds). In addition to standard Input and Output jacks, it includes Send and Return connections for gating an external effects loop. The pedal uses buffered bypass, ensuring the effects loop remains in the signal path when the gate is bypassed. It features a compact, rugged enclosure and can be powered by a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC power supply.
