RE-2 Space Echo

The BOSS RE-2 Space Echo is a compact digital delay pedal that faithfully recreates the sound and behavior of the legendary Roland RE-201 Space Echo. It features 11 tape head combinations with or without the original-style spring reverb, independent Echo and Reverb level controls, and an extended delay time beyond the original hardware. The pedal reproduces the characteristic tape saturation, preamp coloration, motor-induced modulation, and pitch changes of the RE-201, while adding modern features including Wow & Flutter control, Tap Tempo, Warp and Twist effects, selectable RE-201 preamp or clean dry signal, true stereo I/O, spillover, and support for external footswitches or an expression pedal for expanded real-time control.
