Sub Octave Bass Fuzz

The MXR M287 Sub Octave Bass Fuzz combines a bass fuzz circuit with a switchable sub-octave effect, allowing the two sounds to be used together for thicker, heavier bass tones. It features controls for Gain, Fuzz, Bass, Treble, Sub Octave, Dry, and Mid+ Level, giving independent control over the fuzz, octave, and clean signals. A dedicated Fuzz Mode switch selects between two distinct fuzz voicings: a brighter, more aggressive sound or a warmer, low-end-focused tone. Separate footswitches allow the fuzz and octave sections to be engaged independently, while the dry blend helps retain low-end clarity and note definition.
