EVH 5150 Overdrive

The EVH 5150 Overdrive is an overdrive and distortion pedal developed in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen, designed to bring the character of EVH's high-gain amp tones to a pedal format. It features a 3-band EQ with Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, along with Gain and Output controls for shaping saturation and volume. A dedicated Boost switch adds additional gain and compression, while the built-in noise gate helps reduce unwanted noise and allows adjustment of the gate threshold. The pedal can be used for everything from classic overdrive to modern high-gain distortion
