EVH117 Flanger

The MXR EVH117 Flanger is a flanger pedal developed to Eddie Van Halen's specifications, based on the flanger sounds heard throughout classic Van Halen recordings. It features Manual, Width, Speed, and Regen controls for adjusting the character, depth, rate, and intensity of the effect. A dedicated EVH switch instantly recalls a preset "Unchained" flanger setting, bypassing the front-panel controls for the signature sound associated with that track. The pedal operates at 18V and uses analog circuitry to deliver the sweeping modulation effects for which the original EVH flanger tones became known.
