Timmy Overdrive

The MXR Timmy Overdrive is a transparent overdrive designed to enhance the natural sound of your guitar and amplifier while providing a wide range of gain tones. It features Volume, Gain, and uniquely configured Bass and Treble controls, where the Bass control cuts low frequencies before the overdrive stage and the Treble control cuts high frequencies after the overdrive stage for precise tone shaping. A 3-position Clip switch selects between asymmetrical clipping for dynamic, moderately saturated tones, symmetrical clipping with high headroom and definition, or symmetrical clipping with heavier saturation and lower headroom. The pedal features true hardwire bypass, operates from a 9V DC power supply (no battery support), and draws just 2.2 mA.
