CE-2 Chorus

The BOSS CE-2 Chorus is an all-analog chorus pedal introduced in 1979 as a compact version of the earlier CE-1 Chorus Ensemble. Designed specifically for guitar, it delivers a smooth, warm modulation while preserving clarity and note definition. Its simple interface features Rate and Depth controls, making it easy to dial in a wide range of chorus sounds, from subtle movement to deep, lush modulation. The CE-2's rich midrange character helps it remain present in a mix, and its warm modulation works well with both clean and overdriven tones. Originally manufactured in Japan before production moved to Taiwan, the CE-2 became one of the defining chorus pedals of the 1980s and remains one of BOSS's most iconic analog effects.
