The Carbon Sky Blue V2

The Browne Amplification Carbon V2 is a low-to-medium gain overdrive pedal based on the Bluesbreaker-style circuit that originally formed the "blue side" of the company's Protein Dual Overdrive. It is designed to provide a wide range of drive levels, from clean boost and edge-of-breakup tones to higher-gain overdrive sounds. Controls include Volume, Gain, and Tone, along with a three-position High-Cut switch. The High-Cut control reduces high frequencies to varying degrees, helping tailor the pedal to brighter amplifiers, guitars, or stacked overdrive setups. The center position retains the original voicing, while the other positions progressively reduce treble content. The Carbon V2 offers substantial output level, allowing it to function effectively as either a transparent boost or a standalone overdrive. Additional features include a configurable startup state, enabling the pedal to power up either engaged or bypassed.
