Morning Glory

The JHS Morning Glory is a low-to-medium gain overdrive pedal designed to add natural breakup while preserving the character of the guitar and amplifier. Based on the Marshall Bluesbreaker overdrive topology, it is known for its transparent response, broad frequency range, and touch-sensitive dynamics. The Gain control ranges from clean boost to mild overdrive, making it suitable for edge-of-breakup tones, light crunch, and pushing an already driven amplifier into additional sustain and saturation. A side-mounted Bright-Cut switch helps reduce excessive high frequencies when used with brighter guitars or amplifiers. Version 4 also includes a selectable high-gain mode that increases output, low-end response, and overall drive. This mode can be activated from the pedal itself or remotely using the optional JHS Red Remote, effectively providing two gain settings within a single pedal.
