Soft Crush

Soft Crush solves the classic Big Muff problem: huge tone at home, lost in the mix on stage. Instead of adding a simple mid control or clean blend, it runs two full circuits in parallel, a crushing, tweaked Muff-style fuzz and a soft-clipping, mid-focused overdrive. The fuzz sits between a 70s Ram’s Head and a 90s Green Russian: big, fat and aggressive. The overdrive is inspired by a TS-808, with the mid hump shifted higher for better cut and presence. Because the circuits run in parallel, they blend naturally without fighting each other, thanks to careful phase alignment and summing design. Use either side alone or combine them for massive, mix-ready drive tones, from shoegaze walls to focused rock crunch.
