Solo Boost

The JHS Solo Boost is a compact, limited-edition clean boost designed to increase volume without adding its own distortion, making it ideal for pushing an amplifier into natural overdrive or giving solos extra presence in the mix. A single Boost control adjusts the output level, keeping the pedal intentionally simple and focused on delivering transparent gain. A side-mounted switch selects between two distinct boost circuits: a FET mode, inspired by classic FET booster designs, and an Op Amp mode that delivers the clean, straightforward boost associated with traditional op amp circuits. This allows players to choose the response that best suits their rig while maintaining the pedal's minimalist operation. Despite its simple interface, the Solo Boost is equally at home as an always-on tone enhancer, a solo volume lift, or a clean front-end boost for driving other pedals or an amplifier.
