The Big Muff Pi 2 with Tone Wicker is an op-amp-based fuzz pedal derived from the 1970s Big Muff Pi 2 circuit. It retains the original Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls while adding two switches for expanded tonal flexibility. The Tone switch bypasses the tone circuit, producing a full-range, unfiltered fuzz, while the three-position Wicker switch progressively removes high-frequency filtering to increase brightness and top-end clarity, particularly at lower Tone settings. The pedal features the characteristic high gain, sustain, and mid-forward voicing of the original circuit, along with a soft footswitch that supports both standard latching operation and momentary activation by holding the switch.
