Ball Buster

The Dirty Boy Ball Buster is an all-analog clean boost/preamp designed to drive the front end of vintage-style amplifiers such as Marshall Plexi, Orange, Hiwatt, and Vox. It delivers approximately 10 dB of clean boost, progressing into natural compression, British-style overdrive, and even fuzz-like saturation as the Gain is increased. The pedal features Treble and Bass controls voiced specifically for guitar, along with a signature H-M-L switch that adjusts the low-frequency response by removing excess bass before boosting the remaining lows, allowing tighter rhythm tones or fuller lead sounds. Designed to enhance rather than mask an amplifier's character, the Ball Buster functions as a transparent boost, tone shaper, or amp-driving preamp. It features true bypass switching and standard 9V DC operation.
