Vintage Overdrive

The JOYO Vintage Overdrive is a Tube Screamer-style overdrive built around an RC4558 op-amp. It delivers smooth, mid-focused drive with a warm character and moderate compression, covering everything from a mild boost to thicker, sustained overdrive. Its Gain, Tone, and Volume controls provide straightforward adjustment of distortion, frequency balance, and output level, making it suitable for pushing an amplifier or adding classic overdrive to a clean signal. The pedal uses true-bypass switching to keep it out of the signal path when disengaged and is housed in a compact aluminum-alloy enclosure.
