C. regalis

The Moth Electric C. regalis is a hand-built overdrive for guitar and bass, covering high-output clean boost, natural overdrive and mid-gain distortion. Its six-op-amp circuit is paired with active Bass and Treble controls offering ±15 dB of boost or cut for matching different instruments and amplifiers. Drive sets the amount of gain, Volume controls output level, and Blend mixes the clean signal with the overdrive for more transparent sounds or to retain the character of other effects. A Smooth/Crunch switch changes the response: Smooth increases sustain for lead playing, while Crunch introduces even-order harmonics for additional texture. It features through-hole construction, top-mounted jacks and true-bypass switching. Runs on 9V DC center-negative power at 20 mA.
