The Electronic Audio Experiments Scattering is a true-stereo reverb built around networks of tapped delay lines, inspired by permutations of the discontinued MN3011 bucket-brigade device. Its four modes range from lively, fluttering reflections and conventional ambience to saturated, modulated, double-tracked and pitch-bending textures. The analog/digital hybrid architecture combines 24-bit variable-sample-rate processing with analog filtering and emphasis, plus a high-headroom analog dry path and mixer. A 32-bit processor controls all functions. It includes expression morphing with adjustable rise/fall times, an assignable LFO with periodic and random waveforms, and a CTRL input for MIDI, expression or CV. Full MIDI control covers all parameters, with 16 presets: three accessible from the front panel and the remainder via MIDI. Firmware is updateable via MIDI SysEx.
