Statesboro Bluesman Hybrid

The Statesboro Bluesman HYBRID is a boutique germanium/silicon fuzz inspired by the family of modified fuzz circuits associated with Duane Allman’s slide tone. It combines NOS high-gain germanium and matched silicon transistors to provide vintage-style warmth, harmonic bloom and compression with added clarity and consistency. Volume controls output level, Drive adjusts saturation, sustain and bite, while the interactive EQ ranges from thick fuzz tones to Rangemaster-style treble-booster territory. The circuit responds dynamically to the guitar’s volume and tone controls and uses an NPN transistor design with true bypass and standard 9V DC power. It is particularly suited to blues rock, Southern rock, psychedelic rock, classic rock, vintage rock, slide guitar and expressive lead playing.
