Canvas Line Isolator / D.I.

The Walrus Audio Canvas Line Isolator / D.I. is a passive Direct Injection (DI) box and Line Isolator (LI) that converts a ¼-inch unbalanced signal to a transformer-isolated balanced XLR output, with a flat 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response. DI mode is intended for high-impedance sources such as electric guitar and bass, reducing the signal by 20 dB, with a selectable -15 dB pad for hotter signals. LI mode accepts low-impedance sources such as amp/cab simulators and keyboards while maintaining their signal level. A Sum switch converts the Thru connection into a second input for summing stereo sources to mono. It also includes a ground lift to reduce hum and uses a custom-wound Sapphire transformer designed for low distortion and full-frequency response.
