The Templo Devices The Outer Limit is a studio-style diode compressor designed for clean, smooth compression ranging from subtle peak control to limiting. A charge pump raises the internal operating voltage to 18V for increased headroom and linear compression. Input controls the gain feeding the compressor and determines how strongly compression is triggered, while Output attenuates the signal after compression. Three-position Attack and Release switches adjust how quickly compression engages and how long it remains active, while the three-position Dynamics switch controls compression ratio, ranging from subtle peak attenuation to limiting. An indicator light responds to the compression intensity and duration. The pedal includes a low-impedance XLR output, top-mounted 1/4-inch input and output jacks, buffered bypass and operates from standard 9V DC center-negative power.
