Brighton Treble Booster

Report incorrect information
The Brighton Treble Booster is a discrete-transistor treble boost pedal based on a classic 1960s circuit, updated with additional tone-shaping and signal-buffering features. Its Body control adjusts the low-frequency response, ranging from the original circuit's bass roll-off at minimum to a fuller sound with increased low-end content. Bias varies the transistor's operating point, altering waveform shape and harmonic characteristics, with the fully counterclockwise position reproducing a preferred vintage bias setting. A Smooth switch attenuates high frequencies for a less aggressive response. An additional discrete output buffer helps prevent signal loss when driving longer cables. The pedal responds dynamically to guitar volume adjustments, transitioning from saturated drive to cleaner, brighter tones.
