Asabi

The Jackson Audio Asabi is a signature overdrive and distortion pedal developed in collaboration with guitarist Mateus Asato. Designed for versatility, it combines multiple gain textures ranging from smooth overdrive to higher-gain distortion within a single platform. One of its main features is a replaceable analog distortion module system, allowing the pedal’s distortion circuit to be physically swapped for different analog plug-ins without replacing the entire pedal. This modular approach makes it possible to change the pedal’s gain character and response using alternative distortion circuits. The Asabi was designed to provide flexible amp-like drive tones while offering expandability through its interchangeable analog distortion architecture.
