OD-3 Overdrive

The Boss OD-3 OverDrive is an overdrive pedal featuring a newly developed dual-stage overdrive circuit designed to produce a natural overdrive with balanced compression and extended sustain. Drive, Tone, and Level controls adjust the amount of overdrive, overall tone, and output level, allowing the pedal to range from mild breakup to higher-gain overdrive while maintaining a smooth, amp-like response. Compared to previous Boss overdrive models, the OD-3 offers greater sustain and a more powerful overdrive character. The pedal can be powered by a 9V battery or a Boss PSA-series AC adapter, and features the standard Boss buffered bypass switching.
