Tornado

The Joyo R-21 Tornado is the José de Castro signature dual-channel overdrive pedal. It features independent Drive and Boost sections that can be used separately or combined, allowing players to move from clean boosting to higher-gain overdrive sounds. The pedal includes dedicated controls for shaping gain, tone, output level, and boost amount, providing a wide range of drive textures. Developed in collaboration with Spanish guitarist José de Castro, the Tornado is designed for expressive lead and rhythm guitar tones while offering the flexibility of two footswitchable gain stages in a single enclosure.
