Deep Phase

The MXR Deep Phase is an analog phaser, possibly inspired by the classic Electro-Harmonix Small Stone phaser circuit, updated in a compact MXR Mini enclosure. It delivers the vintage swoosh, scooped midrange, and expressive, voice-like modulation of the original while correcting its characteristic volume drop. The Speed control adjusts the modulation rate, while FDBK controls the intensity and resonance of the phase effect. A Mode II switch changes the circuit from 4-stage phasing for smooth, subtle modulation to 8-stage operation for deeper, more textured sweeps. Designed for both guitar and bass, the Deep Phase offers everything from gentle movement to rich, swirling modulation in a simple, pedalboard-friendly format.
